The Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms in association with the British Postal Museum and Archive present a series of lectures in support of the exhibition, 'Last Post: Remembering the First World War' .
For the price of the lecture ticket visitors will also receive preferential access to the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms. Doors open at 6.30 pm and stay open until 9.00 pm to allow guests to explore the museum and historic rooms both prior to and after the lectures.
The 2 February lecture with Mark Crowley has been rescheduled to 16 February due to the extreme weather. All ticket holders will be contacted to either move their ticket to the new date or for a refund.

Mark Crowley: The Post Office during the Second World War Monday 16 February 2009 7.00 pm - RESCHEDULED FROM 2 FEBRUARY Mark Crowley traces the role of the Post Office during the Second World War. Its role in maintaining solidarity on the home front, and its role in the war effort more generally will be examined.
Terry Charman: Winston Churchill and the First World War Monday 23 February 2009 7.00 pm Terry Charman will tell of how Churchill, as First Lord of the Admiralty, began the war at the centre of Britain's war effort, how he fell from power in May 1915, his time on the Western Front with the Royal Scots Fusiliers, and how he ended the war, once more in office, as Minister of Munitions.
Peter Sutton: The Post Office during the First World War Thursday 5 March 2009 7.00 pm Peter Sutton discusses the complexities of the role of the Post office during the First World War.
Tickets are £12.50 for Adults, £9.95 for concessions and FIWM and Friends of the BPMA. Admission includes entry to the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms.
